Qualified to Certify the following:

· Handlers in control of class 2.1.1A, 2.1.2, 3.1, 4, 5.1.1,  and 5.1.2,  hazardous substances [Reg 56 Hazardous Substances (Class 1 - 5 Controls) Regulations 2001

 

· Handlers in control of class 6, 8 & 9 substances [Reg 9 Hazardous Substances (Class 6, 8 and 9 Controls) Regulations 2001]

 

The following limitation applies:

The approval does not include handlers in control of the use of vertebrate toxic agents, pesticides, fumigants and veterinary medicines.

 

· Locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present [Reg 81 Hazardous Substances (Class 1 to 5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

 

· Locations where class 3.1 or 3.2 substances are present [Reg 81 Hazardous Substances (Class 1 to 5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

 

· Locations where class 4 substances are present [Reg 81 Hazardous Substances (Class 1 to 5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

 

· Locations where class 5.1.1 or 5.1.2  or 5.2 substances are present [Reg 98 Hazardous Substances (Class 1 to 5 Controls) Regulations 2001

 

· Existing stationary container systems for which a compliance plan is in effect [Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004, Schedule 8 clause 104]

 

· The installation of stationary container systems for above ground tanks [Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004, Schedule 8 clause 92]

 

· The installation of stationary container systems that include burners  [Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004, Schedule 8 clause 71].

 

· Existing stationary container systems including above ground and below ground tanks [Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004, Schedule 8 clause 91].

 

Limitation:

The following limitations apply to this approval:

The approval is limited to below and aboveground tanks that have a maximum capacity of 120,000 litres (water capacity) per tank, used to contain a hazardous liquid.
